If you want a robust, all-day companion with a sleek case and proven noise isolation for chaotic environments, choose Xmenha Discreet; if you need the absolute lightest possible fit that vanishes completely for side sleepers or those with tiny canals, choose Yihou Mini Invisible Earbuds.
• Xmenha Discreet: Strengths lie in its advanced Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, sound-insulating tips for active noise reduction, and a long-lasting battery life suitable for extended workdays. The trade-off is a slightly bulkier charging case compared to ultra-minimalist options.
• The trade-off is a lack of specific waterproofing claims and fewer audio-specific features like dynamic driver tuning details found in the competitor.
• Best For: Choose Xmenha if you prioritize connection stability and call clarity in noisy settings; choose Yihou if your primary concern is invisibility and comfort during sleep or intense movement.
The Xmenha Discreet earbuds are engineered for the person who needs their audio gear to disappear without sacrificing performance. What sets this model apart is its focus on sound isolation rather than active cancellation. The included sound-insulating ear tips are crafted to block out moderate noise levels, making them an excellent choice for commuters navigating subways, factory workers dealing with background hum, or professionals trying to maintain focus in open offices.
I find the Xmenha Discreet particularly compelling for anyone who wears headphones for long stretches. The ergonomic design ensures a secure fit that resists falling out, which is critical when you are moving around. While they aren't marketed as heavy-duty gym equipment, their sweat-proof and waterproof design means you don't have to worry about moisture damage during a workout or a sudden rainstorm. This durability adds a layer of peace of mind that many "discrete" models simply lack.
This setup aims to deliver stereo HIFI sound with rich details, allowing you to hear the original fidelity of your music or podcasts. The integration of the new Bluetooth 5.4 chip is a significant upgrade over older standards, promising faster pairing and a more stable wireless connection. If you are looking for the best wireless headset for gym sessions or daily commutes where connection drops are unacceptable, the technical backbone of the Xmenha makes it a strong contender.

However, this product might not be for everyone. If you are a deep sleeper who cannot tolerate any pressure in your ear canal, the in-ear design might still feel intrusive compared to other specialized sleep buds. Additionally, while the case is compact enough to fit in a pocket, it is a standard flip-style box rather than a slide mechanism, which some users might find less convenient for one-handed operation. You should skip this pick if you prioritize a purely aesthetic, fidget-friendly case over advanced connectivity features.
The Yihou Mini Invisible Earbuds take a different approach, prioritizing the sensation of wearing nothing at all. These earbuds are true low-profile devices designed to sit completely inside the ear canal with zero protrusion. This makes them ideal for people with very small ear canals or children who struggle to keep larger earbuds in place. The XS silicone tips are specifically chosen to ensure a snug, pain-free fit for those who usually find standard sizes uncomfortable.
What truly distinguishes the Yihou is its charging case. Instead of a traditional hinge, it features a round sliding cover that glides open with a single thumb motion. This isn't just a gimmick; it provides a satisfying, tactile experience that feels modern and smooth. For the user who carries their device everywhere, this one-handed operation is a genuine convenience. The black enclosure material also offers a stark, minimalist look that contrasts with the nude tones often found in similar products, giving it a distinct visual identity.
These earbuds shine brightest for side sleepers. Because they sit flush within the canal without sticking out, they eliminate the pressure point that often wakes people up during the night. They are also perfect for privacy-focused tasks like attending Zoom calls or listening to white noise in shared spaces. The touch controls allow for volume adjustments, which is essential for managing audio levels discreetly without reaching for a phone.
That said, the Yihou has limitations regarding environmental resilience. If you plan to use these as the best sweat-resistant bluetooth headset for gym sessions involving heavy perspiration, you might want to exercise caution. The focus here is clearly on comfort and invisibility rather than rugged durability. If your primary goal is to listen to music while running through rain or sweating heavily, the lack of confirmed water resistance could be a dealbreaker.
• Best for Battery Life → Xmenha Discreet: With a claimed 30 hours of total usage, the Xmenha offers significantly longer playtime than the Yihou, making it better for travel or multi-day trips.
• Best for Connection Stability → Xmenha Discreet: The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.4 technology ensures a faster, more reliable link to your device compared to standard connections.
• Best for Noise Isolation → Xmenha Discreet: Designed with specific sound-insulating tips, these are superior for blocking out ambient noise in factories or transit.
• Best for Side Sleepers → Yihou Mini Invisible Earbuds: The ultra-lightweight build and zero-protrusion design make them the safest bet for sleeping on your side without discomfort.
• Best Case Design → Yihou Mini Invisible Earbuds: The sliding cover offers a unique, fidget-friendly experience that stands out against traditional flip cases.
• Best for Small Ears/Children → Yihou Mini Invisible Earbuds: Explicitly designed for tiny ear canals with XS tips, these provide a more secure fit for smaller anatomy.
• Best for Sweat/Rain Exposure → Xmenha Discreet: Only the Xmenha explicitly mentions a waterproof and sweat-proof design, making it safer for intense workouts.
In my opinion, I would buy the Xmenha Discreet for my daily routine because the combination of Bluetooth 5.4 stability and explicit water resistance gives me confidence in almost any scenario. The ability to wear them all day without fatigue, combined with the added protection against sweat and rain, makes it the most versatile option. However, if your only priority is finding the absolute smallest earbud that disappears entirely for sleeping, the Yihou is the winner. For the best earbuds for gym use where sweat and movement are constant factors, the Xmenha's durable design is the clear choice.
The Xmenha Discreet is explicitly rated as waterproof and sweat-proof, making it safe for intense gym sessions. The Yihou lacks a stated water-resistance rating, so it may not hold up as well against heavy sweat or rain.
While total battery life varies by usage, the Xmenha Discreet offers a substantial 30-hour battery capacity from the charging case, whereas specific hourly runtimes for the Yihou are not detailed in the specifications.
Yes, both models are designed for small ears, but the Yihou emphasizes XS silicone tips and a "tiny ear canal" focus, while the Xmenha uses a micro-earbud shape that fits comfortably without strain.
Both support noise control via touch and sound isolation. The Xmenha specifically mentions effective external noise suppression during calls due to its sound-insulating tips, which helps maintain clear voice transmission in busy environments.
