These Reese's Crumbl Cookies are a dream come true for any peanut butter and chocolate lover! Inspired by my love for the iconic Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I wanted to create a cookie that captured that same irresistible combination in every bite. These cookies are thick, soft, and packed with peanut butter and chocolate, making them the perfect indulgence. Whether you're baking for a special occasion or just satisfying a sweet tooth, these cookies are sure to be a hit!
ingredients
cookie dough:
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg (room temperature)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
peanut butter frosting:
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
topping:
3/4 cup reese’s peanut butter cups (chopped)
peanut butter drizzle:
3/4 cup peanut butter chips
1 tsp vegetable oil
chocolate drizzle:
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vegetable oil
instructions
cookie dough:
1. cream the butter, peanut butter, and sugars until fluffy
2. add in the egg and vanilla extract - mix to combine
3. in a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt
4. add the flour mixture to the wet mixture - fold in until no flour remains
5. portion the dough into 1/4 cup sized balls - place on baking sheet & use a cup to press down on each ball of dough to create a very thick disk
6. bake @ 350 for 12 mins
7. remove from the oven and let cool on counter for 30 mins
peanut butter frosting:
1. in a large bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract - about 3-4 mins
2. add in the peanut butter and whip to combine - about 3-4 mins
3. place the frosting into a piping bag & refrigerate for @ least 20 mins
peanut butter drizzle:
1. place the peanut butter chips and oil in a microwave safe bowl - heat for 30 seconds
chocolate drizzle:
1. place the chocolate chips and oil in a microwave safe bowl - heat for 30 seconds
assembly:
1. frost the cooled cookies with the peanut butter frosting, sprinkle some chopped Reese’s on top, and top with peanut butter and chocolate drizzles
