ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs (room temperature)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
3 1/8 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
instructions
1. cream the butter and sugars until fluffy
2. add in the eggs and vanilla extract - mix to combine
3. in a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt
4. add the flour mixture to the wet mixture - fold in until no flour remains
5. gently fold in the oats and chocolate chips
6. cover and chill the dough for 1 hr
7. portion the dough into 1/4 cup sized balls - place on baking sheet
8. bake @ 350 for 12 mins
