1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
instructions
1. cream the butter and sugars until fluffy
2. add in the egg and vanilla extract - mix to combine
3. in a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
4. add the flour mixture to the wet mixture - fold in until no flour remains
5. gently fold in the chocolate chips
6. portion the dough into 1/4 cup sized balls - place on baking sheet
7. bake @ 350 for 12 mins
