I received the HEC Foundation Researcher of the Year (2023) Award.
The paper, joint work with Xiang (Shawn) Wan and Anuj Kumar, entitled "Retargeted versus Generic Product Recommendations: When is it Valuable to Present Retargeted Recommendations?", got accepted by Information Systems Research.
The paper, joint work with Xiang (Shawn) Wan and Anuj Kumar, entitled "How Do Product Recommendations Help Consumers Search Products? Evidence of from a Field Experiment", got accepted by Management Science.
Research Interests:
Topics: Digital economy, social competing, computational social science, human-AI interaction, economics of AI, new AI-supported applications and systems
Methodologies: Applied econometrics, field and laboratory experiments, system design and development
I currently serve as an Associate Editor on the editorial board of Information Systems Research from January 2022 to December 2023. I served as a Program co-Chair for International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) 2021. I hold a Ph.D. in Management (specialized in Information Technologies) from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. I received my bachelor and master degrees in engineering from Tsinghua University.
