Biosketch:
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Louisiana State University. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2014 under the supervision of James Zhang, and I was a postdoctoral researcher at Temple University working with Chelsea Walton. My research focuses on quantum algebra, Hopf algebras, quantum groups, tensor categories, Poisson algebra, and noncommutative algebra, with particular interest in the structural, homological, categorical, and computational aspects of these subjects.
Quantum algebra, Hopf algebras, quantum groups, tensor categories, Poisson algebra, noncommutative algebra, representation theory.
A recurring theme in my work is the study of algebraic structures through their representations, homological properties, categorical frameworks, and connections with mathematical physics. Looking forward, I am also interested in the thoughtful use of computational and AI-assisted tools to explore examples, organize mathematical literature, formulate conjectures, and support rigorous mathematical research, while keeping proof, structure, and conceptual understanding at the center.
