Xingfeng Li

Li is an Assistant Professor at City University of Macau (CityU), where he is also the director of the LiLAB.

Before joining CityU, he was a faculty member at Hainan University (HNU), where he served as an Associate Professor (2022-2024) in the School of Computer Science and Technology.

Research Interests

Xingfeng Li's research focuses on signal processing and machine learning algorithms with their applications in AI interfaces. His work explores cutting-edge topics, including:

• Computational Paralinguistics

• Sound AI

• Bioacoustics Analysis and Classification

• Ecoacoustics Analysis and Classification

• Feature Engineering and Machine Learning Algorithms

The findings of his research carry significant implications for numerous practical fields, including human-computer interaction, healthcare, entertainment, transportation systems, and education.
