We are an experimental condensed matter group affiliated with SCUT Spin-X Institute, School of Materials and Science & Engineering, and School of Microelectronics. Our research focuses on novel quantum effects and device applications in low-dimensional systems, with research directions spanning two-dimensional magnetism and moiré superlattices, exciton–spin–optomechanical coupling, and exotic quantum states at superconductor–magnet interfaces. Our aim is to uncover new condensed matter phenomena in low dimensions, design advanced quantum materials, and develop next-generation devices based on excitonic, spintronic, and superconducting principles. The laboratory is equipped with low-temperature optical spectroscopy platforms, ultra-sensitive magneto-optical measurement systems, device fabrication and characterization facilities for low-dimensional materials, as well as advanced optical and mechanical probe techniques, providing a solid foundation for exploring frontier physics in quantum materials.
