Hi, I'm Xiaoyang Zheng, a postdoc researcher from National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
I am doing computational materials design using deep learning, finite element simulation, and 3D printing. In particular, I focus on developing deep-learning-frameworks for inverse design of mechanical metamaterials, and designing novel mechanical metamaterials with unprecedented properties and enhanced performance for robotics.
