My research interests center around hybrid dynamics and controls of robotic systems. I like to exploit simple models for motion planning and controls on high dimensional legged robots. I am also interested in applying data-driven approaches for realizing dynamical behaviors on physical systems in unstructured environment. My previous research includes bipedal walking on granular terrain, hopping and walking of the 3D bipedal robot Cassie and the lower body powered exoskeleton Atalante.
