Call for abstracts
Abstract submissions for scientific communications are now being accepted and will undergo peer review by the scientific committee. Accepted abstracts will be featured in the book of abstracts, which will be distributed to all symposium attendees.
Please be advised that abstract submissions for any type of presentation at the symposium are currently being accepted and will continue to be accepted until June 25th. Notification on acceptance (and day of presentation) of an abstract will be emailed approximately two weeks after the submission deadline.
Please note that registration is not required to submit abstracts. However, accepted abstracts will only be published in the Book of Abstracts upon full registration and payment.
The following templates should be used for the abstract submission.
Poster presentation guidelines
Poster size is A0 (nominally 90 cm wide and 120 cm high), in portrait format (no landscape). A poster number will be assigned to each abstract and will be announced to the first author, along with the day of presentation. Poster presenters are responsible for setting up and removing the posters.
Awards
The best oral communication, flash poster and poster presentations will be awarded by Celtarys Research at the occasion of the XI Symposium of Medicinal Chemistry Young Researchers. Also, a participant wil be selected to attend to the EMC-YMCS 2025 on account of SEQT sponsorship.
Travel grants
The organizing committee will award several scholarships for young researchers (doctoral and post-doctoral students) to facilitate attendance at the symposium.
To be eligible for a travel grant, participants must actively contribute to the symposium by presenting a communication (Poster, Flash, or Oral).
We will aim to cover the maximum possible amount of travel expenses for all participants who meet the eligibility criteria.
If you want to apply for a travel grant you must be a SEQT member (or EFMC adhered). In order to apply for it you only need to send us your travel tickets to seqt.ecs@seqt.org.
