The Xenia High School Athletic Hall of Fame inducted the entire 1959-1960 basketball team and presented some of those players before the game with Northmont on November 30, 2012.

Xenia Finishes with 22-1 Record.
The Buccaneers, through hard work and team determination, went undefeated through the regular season. Thus they won their third straight Miami Valley League championship. Coach Kaylor's boys' final rating in the State of Ohio Basketball poll coaches was fourth.
During the season Ted Day scored his 1000th point in three years at Xenia High. The team also set a new scoring record in the Xenia Field House with 97 points against Hamilton-Garfield. John Grooms, Ted Day, Paul Storey and John Clemens made the Miami Valley League "Dream Team" while Gary Walthall and Leon Phoenix received honorable mention.
After the Roosevelt game in tournament play, team and individual awards were presented. Captains for the team, Paul Storey, Ted Day, and John Grooms, received the individual awards and Coach Kaylor was presented the Dayton District tournament runner up trophy.
