I agree. But I purchased the device from Xerox! And the price of the device, compared to other companies, is significantly higher. This device should not only print and scan documents efficiently but also make coffee and wash cups. The company should be able to release updates to its software to accommodate changes made by Microsoft developers... I expected more from a company with such high ambitions. It's a pity.

I removed all printers and faxes, even the default Microsoft 'Print to PDF'. Rebooted system and ran Xerox Smart Installer again. Same problems... no icon in the Start Menu, manual start does nothing. I also installed the app from de MS Store. That starts but is not showing any printer. Add printer just downloads the Xerox Smart Installer again... what a mess. I added the scanner now via Add Scanner and can at least scan with Windows Scan. So the problem is the Xerox software.

I was having issues with Workcentre 6515 not giving me the option to scan (it continued to show "offline"). So I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and now it doesn't show the printer on the " Xerox Print and Scan Experience" app. I can use the printer if it i9s connected with the USB but other than that, I can't do anything else with the printer. can someone please chime in on the issue?

I alredy have the Windows Pro version and still cannot use the "Print and scan Experience" app. i have reinstalled it several time, i upgraded the printer software, i restarted my computer multiple time and still cannot get the app to work. when i open the app, I just see a blank page with an add printer at the bottom left hand corner of the app. It was working fine until the recent upgrade by Xerox. it is really frustrating.

@JusticeUK - I reinstalled my windows with a different version. I moved from my standard Mucrosoft W. Home license kit to a Pro licensed of a streamlined ISO and the same installer that did not previously worked now works and shows the printer, which means I can finaly scan. It is a pity I had to use a cutom windows install, but the woraround accomplished the goal.

When I use the Easy Printer Manager program to scan and print documents, the only option is to save it to jpg not pdf. I simply want to use WorkCentre 3215 to scan documents then save to PDF format not jpg format.
