xeles : Offline Ai is designed to be a privacy-first, offline artificial intelligence chat application. Our core philosophy is to keep your data on your device. We do not operate servers that collect your chat history or personal information.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.

All chat history, including text messages and interactions with the AI models, is stored locally on your device in an internal database. We do not have access to this data, and it is not uploaded to any external servers operated by us.

Voice and Audio Data

Permissions: The app requests the RECORD_AUDIO permission to enable voice interaction features. Usage: When you use the voice features, audio input is captured to transcribe your speech into text. Processing: This processing occurs primarily on your device. However, depending on your device's settings and capabilities, the Android operating system's speech recognition service may be used to convert speech to text. We do not retain or store your audio recordings after transcription is complete.

3. Third-Party Services

We use services provided by Google for the distribution and maintenance of the application:

Google Play Services: Used for app distribution and core functionality.

Google Play Asset Delivery: Used to download and update the AI models (e.g., Gemma) required for the app to function. These models are downloaded directly from Google Play's infrastructure to your device.

We do not use third-party analytics services (like Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics) or advertising networks (like AdMob) to track your usage or display ads.

4. Internet Access

The app acts as an offline tool. However, it may require internet access handled by the Android operating system to:

Download AI model assets via Google Play Asset Delivery.

Update the application.

Provide speech-to-text functionality if offline recognition is not available on your specific device configuration.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Since your data is stored locally, the security of your data also depends on the security of your physical device.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect professionally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
