From that point forward, anytime you add items to your download queue from the web marketplace and you sign in on that console your downloads will begin the moment you sign in to LIVE. You can change what console the service considers your main console as frequently as you would like by repeating the above steps.

Speaking of Fortnite, another major game was recently added to Xbox Game Pass' cloud library in the form of Grand Theft Auto V. Last time GTAV was added, the service saw a surge in popularity which resulted in occasional queues. Although it's unconfirmed if GTAV is directly responsible, many users on Xbox Cloud Gaming communities are blaming GTAV for this recent, much larger influx of queues, which is hitting Microsoft's cloud gaming systems in various regions.

Even off-peak, I've found myself in situations where a cloud game can take anywhere up to 5 minutes to get going. Before writing this article, I sought to test it out for myself, and nabbed a 3-minute queue time followed by a further 3-4 minutes of "Sorry, this is taking longer than we expected" queue timing. Some users on reddit have reported queues of anywhere up to an hour though, which surely strikes me as a bug, but it's hard to know exactly what the situation is per region. If you've had issues with queues on Xbox Cloud Gaming, be sure to let us know in the comments.

Microsoft is also offloading some of the GPU cycles from Xbox Cloud Gaming to A.I. processing services when they're not in use as part of Microsoft's big ChatGPT / Bing Chat push. The AI processing may also be inducing queues, as servers flip priorities around. It's a downside, but it also crucially extends the business viability of the service in a world where Apple and Google won't allow Microsoft to monetize on their platforms. You'll notice that no games either from first or third-party developers on Xbox Cloud Gaming for Google Play have in-app purchases or DLC enabled. You can blame Google for that.

Queues like the ones we're seeing present another pain point for the service, though, disregarding latency issues and Google and Apple's duopolistic and anti-competitive blocks on such services' business models. Microsoft right now has to decide how much silicon to allocate to Xbox Cloud Gaming, to offset queues like this, or allocate to native Xbox Series X consoles, since they all use the same AMD chips. Microsoft has struggled to get Xbox Series X consoles onto store shelves, giving Sony a huge 2:1 lead in the high-end console market race to Xbox's detriment.

If you try grouping yourself with a single other friend and both queue for ALL roles, does your queue time appear to improve? Repeat this test with each friend, one at a time (i.e. just you grouped with friend A, then just you grouped with friend B, etc.)

We always queue all roles. It does seem to be better when queueing as a duo which is good. I think if it was the same I would just give up on overwatch. I dont want to force my friends to waste time waiting in queue.

Hi - my son is having the same issue. all fine until 3 days ago, then only 1 or 2 players in queue. We play Xbox One. NAT is open. We've tried all different data centres but nothing changes. His rep on Xbox is 'good'. these are all things that various user boards have suggested! Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul.

Hello, I've been trying to connect to the official server for 40 minutes now by constantly refreshing the page and when one player leaves the server I connect but unsuccessfully, as if I'm playing a game before the game, who will press the "Join" button first.

I had an idea why the developers should not make it easier for us and make the game more enjoyable by adding some kind of queue like we can see in FiveM when we connecting to the server that is full.

I am sick of waiting to join a server on official because randoms are joining. I am lvl 70 and can't get in while I'm mid tame! I only left cause game crashed. So frustrating. This studio needs to fix their poop. Add a queue system like rust etc. This will help for now until they fire up for servers which will likely kill nitrado anyway cause it can't handle this game

Would be nice to have a queue or some such that you could wait in when the server is full, rather than having to click and click hoping you'll happen to catch a free slot. Another idea - would be GREAT if you could tag a full server, then drop into single player to mess around and get a notification when the server is no longer full. Just my 2 cents...

So ASA released on xbox today and the game looks great, no problems with crashing or lagging or anything at all it was the most fun on ark I've had since I first started in ASE 4 years ago. I was lucky enough get on right when the day 1 servers came on and played for about 3 hours, got a base setup and farmed a good amount of metal and I decided to log off for an hour to walk my dog and get some food. I have now been spending the last hour just trying to log back in with no luck at all and I cant help but feel I wasted all my time progressing on that server that I now cant even play, unless I want to spend the next few hours simply trying to log back on to the server. Something as simple as a server que would help this process DRAMATICALLY. I love game so far and am really impressed with how it looks and plays like a high-end game, but when you cant even play the game because of this archaic server system it really creates a lot of unnecessary stress and just heavily cheapens the experience.

The same here. My acc stack on queue. I try other acc and it works so i dont know why my acc on ps5 i stack. Why they can do some restart or wtf. They never learn. Tge same situation was on d2 ressurected.

Today still the same, I turn on the beta and the same, queue for ages.

Does Blizzard not see what is happening on consoles or pretends that there is no problem.

Please explain and fix this situation, this beta is a sad joke.

Currently top players and streamers such as Beastyqt and DeMuslim often have to wait a very long time in queue. Its pretty common for the queue times for these players to be 6m+, other 8m many times as well. Often at the end of this long wait they end up playing a much weaker opponent. This results in a poorer experience for people watching the streams as there is considerable downtime and many mismatched games. I would like to offer some potential solutions to this to improve the aoe4 viewing experience on streaming platforms.

At the top of the ladder we have our 2000+ elo players. This is mostly the top 20. Once you hit rank 100, we already have a difference of 300 elo (even more for Beastyqt at 2200+). Using the system shown in the patch notes, it would take 5 minutes of queuing before a top 20 and top 100 player could match with each other. However, with 1.5 more minutes in queue we now have an uncapped search. This results in a system in which the top players have to queue 5m to get a good top 100 match but then only have around 1.5 minutes once they get there before they start finding plat level players.

My proposal is to treat the top level players differently when queuing. A rule could be implemented that for players above 1600 or so (this can be played around with) have a different queue system that gives them more time to match with top 100 players before moving out too wide.

If I am already playing a queued song, I can tap the three little dots to the right of the song name in the now playing screen, scroll down to "go to queue" and tap it, which redirects back to looking at that song and that song only in the now playing screen. The dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen that previously allowed me to access my queue are gone.

I cannot see the list of what is in my queue, much less edit the queue in any way. I've talked to my friends (who also use various android devices) and they are experiencing the same problem. This seriously impacts our ability to use spotify. Is there any way I can use my queue again?

I could original see my queue no matter what kind of playlist or daily mix it was and now I can't at all I have premium and I didn't have this issue until last night, and I've already deleted Spotify twice and restarted my phone it's not working

If there is an excessive wait time when queuing for a match within Overwatch 2, ensure that there are no server or other Internet problems at large first. Please try the troubleshooting for Overwatch 2 connection issues.

Low reputation may also increase queue times, as you will only be queued with other players of similar reputation. The Xbox Enforcement website explains this system, and you can check your status using the Console Check tab on the same site. This system is not controlled by Blizzard and we do not have any way to adjust Xbox Live reputation.

I get that everyone has different aims and plans while playing the game, but if I queue for an activity, shouldn't I be queuing FOR THE ACTIVITY, not just thrown in a group with an RNG chance of doing it?

Titles may sometimes wish to show how active their queues are, in an effort to set user expectations for wait times. They may retrieve these statistics and display them directly to the user, or perhaps retrieve these statistics from a server to display or collect approximated telemetry as they wish. This tutorial shows the steps for retrieving these statistics from matchmaking.

First, decide if you should configure your queue to allow statistics to be retrieved by users. Servers may always retrieve statistics for each queue. Users may retrieve statistics only if the queue configuration has the Show thenumber of players matching and/or Show the time to match statistics settingschecked.

Call the GetQueueStatistics APIto retrieve the statistics. These values are aggregated and updated over time. For this reason, the GetQueueStatistics API should only be calledintermittently. It is not intended to provide real-time tracking of a queue'sstatistics. e24fc04721
