Short version: your data never leaves your browser.
The extension reads the bookmarks shown to you on your X bookmarks page (x.com/i/history Bookmarks tab or x.com/i/bookmarks) (from the page itself and from the responses X already sends your browser) only while that page is open. It does not export your likes or your video/article viewing history.
All processing happens locally. Exports (CSV, JSON, Markdown, HTML, ZIP) are saved straight to your computer.
We run no server. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share your bookmarks, your X account, browsing history or analytics. There is no tracking.
Stored locally (chrome.storage.local): the IDs of bookmarks you already exported (for "only new since last export"). Remove it anytime by uninstalling the extension.
Media ZIP (Pro, only if and when Pro is offered): with your permission, the extension downloads images/videos directly from X's media servers (pbs.twimg.com, video.twimg.com) into your browser.
Payments (Pro, only if and when Pro is offered): handled by ExtensionPay/Stripe on their own pages. We only learn whether your license is paid; we never see card details, and your bookmarks are never sent to them.
