Xavier (Xinyu) Yuan

袁心宇

Xavier Yuan received his M.S. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. He worked at Information Processing Lab, led by Professor Jenq-Neng Hwang, as a research assistant during his time at UW, where his research interests include computer vision, machine learning and deep learning. Yuan was a runner-up in the traffic anomaly detection track of the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition’s (CVPR) 2019 AI City Challenge. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Fudan University in Jun 2018. His resume can be found here.

01/2020 I started to work as an applied scientist at Wyze Labs.

06/2019 I started my intership at Intellectual Ventures Laboratory (IV Lab) as a research intern with Machine Learning Team.

06/2019 Our team won Track 1 and got 2nd place in Track 2 & 3 in NVIDIA AI City Challenge at 2019 CVPR Workshop.

04/2019 I started TA for EE443 Design and Application of Digital Signal Processors at University of Washington, Seattle.

09/2018 I started my Master's study at University of Washington, Seattle.

06/2018 I graduated and got my Bachelor’s degree from Fudan University.
