I was wondering how one goes about uninstalling the X-plane demo? There is no manual given in the download. There is no mention in the "on-line" manual either?

I have tried looking for it in the windows "install/uninstall" section of my C:\ drive but nothing!?!?

Thank you for reply gentlemen. I beg to differ on your "simple" delete folder instructions.... I had deleted the X-Plane folder that was installed on my C:\ drive. However, why is there still three "XPlane" entries in my C:\Users\Tim\AppData\Local folder!?!?So if X-Plane just creates a "simple" folder and all is required to delete Xplane, is that folder and you will no longer have Xplane installed....why are these three folders in AppData\Local!?!?Where else could there be "hidden" folder/files of X-Plane lurking in my computer now...!?

Confused...?

Tim.

hopefully you could all be a little more positive and helpful for someone who you have no idea why are uninstalling the demo, like me.. I uninstalled as I wanted as clean an install as possible for my steam version with no confusion.

It's actually Windows that left those behind, they're "how do I run this progam" kind of settings. Your system will accumulate those over time no matter what, and that's got nothing to do with X-plane. Also, it doesn't get in the way or otherwise affect your systems performance or functionality.

I installed xplane on an SSD drive and I want to move xplane to a different and faster m2 drive. so do i just delete the folder on the E: drive and do a reinstall, or do i need to delete those text files in \users\me\appdata\local ??

The program kept asking me to unlock the demo every time and had to go and find the product key every time, so I contacted support few times and they told me that I could simply remove the folder to the trash bin. I did that and downloaded the program from scratch, but the computer remembered my product key when installing again (that was the only time) and now still thinks it's a demo when it starts and asks me to unlock the product every day and never remembers the product key. I contacted the support many times but not helpful at all.

On the topic of the demo, it evidently didn't create a desktop icon, Start Menu icon, or any entries in the Uninstall menu, and the only proof that I'd installed anything was that it deposited a text file on my desktop, which made it one of the more confusing pieces of software I'd ever installed. I kind of get that they were going for a low-impact install but it just ended up making it fussier to deal with. Oh well.

THANK YOU! I think this is the most succinct, pleasant, helpful generally useful reply I have ever received in a general forum! You, sir, are a real human being, and I appreciate you! All I wanted was to try x-plane in VR to decide if I want to drop a ton on controllers for helicopter sim. And now I can!

X-Plane is available as a demo first letting you experience about 15-minutes of flight in the Seattle area with several aircraft from the base product. It is this demo that I currently have installed on my system although I am considering checking out the full installation at some point.

I am looking at purchasing a G5 or G6 SR22T and I was wondering if anyone here is located in the Houston, TX area and would be willing to take me on a demo/intro flight? I am deciding between a Bonanza and SR22T, but have no direct contacts with a SR owner, and would love to fly right-seat to get a feel for the plane.

Take advantage of the free demo flights provided by Cirrus. I was honest with my Cirrus Sales Rep that my interest was a new SR20, 2009 SR20 in terrible condition for a total refurb or a used SR22 G3. The rep totally understood and agreed to give me demo flights in the 22 and 20. I did a demo flight in a brand new 22T and it had that definite WOW factor. Since he was a CFI, he also gave me a logbook entry.

G'day Mark, apologies for missing your post the other day. No need to remove the default LOWI demo area, though if you have any ortho/terrain/UHD mesh etc for the area, I would recommend removing the specific tile for Innsbruck (+47+011). Also, if you have any other addon for Innsbruck, you will need to remove that too.

 i want to add a new airplanes to my fsx demo.C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X demo\SimObjects\airplanes can anybody help me to do that ... i was lookin for the original airplanes files to add in my fsx demo but i co...

hey guys,i just went to install the new demo and i get the error 'please uninstall the last demo' - not quite in those words but, yeah.anyway, i have uninstalled the old demo so i guess it's stuck in the registry or something - how to i get rid of...

How can I download and install new planes in FSX? I'm specifically intrested in the Concorde. I tried downloading generally planes from this webpage, but it's just new paintworks. Can anyone help me?...

Try InvoicePlane here before you install it on your own server. You can log in right away and use the application as a regular administrator or as a simple user.

To login as an administrator you will have to use: the username [email protected] and as a password demopassword. Instead to login as a guest user you can use as a username [email protected] and as a password demopassword.

Using Mesh Manager, you can create global control planes to manage your Kong Mesh meshes. This guide explains how to configure a global control plane with Kong Mesh, and then install the Kubernetes demo app so you can test out the Kong Mesh interface in Kong Konnect.

Before you can add your services to the mesh or any configuration, you must create a global control plane in Konnect. This global control plane is hosted by Konnect. The global control plane allows you to configure the data plane proxies for handling mesh traffic.

After creating the global control plane, you must add a zone to that control plane. Adding a zone allows you to manage services added to that zone and send and receive configuration changes to the zone.

In this tutorial, we will use the services from the demo app as an easy way to see how Kong Mesh services can be managed with Mesh Manager. The Kong Mesh Kubernetes demo app sets up four services so you can see how Kong Mesh can be used to control services, monitor traffic, and track resource status:

You can see the services the Kubernetes demo app added by navigating to Mesh Manager in the sidebar of Konnect, selecting the example-cp and clicking Meshes in the sidebar. You can view the services associated with that mesh by clicking Default and the Services tab.

Nice pics! That is an amazing plane. Is this one an original?

As said above that would be the first one to have in a collection of german WWII airplanes... (next follows Jun 87, Me 109, FW 190 and of course Me 262)

First, the summary: the A5 is actually a great airplane for the owner of a lake house who wants to use it like a Jetski and zip around for 20 minutes before returning to base. The airframe, designed by Rutan alum Jon Karkow (who received a posthumous shout-out from Burt Rutan at Oshkosh this year), seems to have met all of the design goals. There are no sponsons underneath the wingtips to catch in the water and thereby capsize the aircraft while taxiing (see Lake Amphibian!). The plane seems to be quite forgiving in terms of landing attitude. It would be difficult to dig in and flip as is straightforward to accomplish with a Cessna on floats. As discussed below, the avionics should be more advanced.

Why does anyone care about a two-seat amphib? It seems that those who are jaded regarding small planes on wheels still love the idea of a seaplane. I posted some photos from the Icon A5 demo flight on Facebook and watched the Likes pile up. A comparable post regarding the Cirrus SR20 would have elicited only yawns.

Considering how few two-seat amphibious seaplanes are out there, this is a surprisingly active corner of the airplane industry. In addition to Icon, there is the Searey, the ATOL (a wooden design from Finland whose executives were at Oshkosh talking about how it will soon be certified in Europe and will have more payload than the Icon (but can wood hold up as well as the solid block of carbon fiber and plastic that is the Icon?)), and the Brazilian Petrel, plus probably a few more purely experimental designs.

With two average sized American guys on board, staying under gross weight is possible only with one hour of fuel and some prayer. Despite being right at gross weight, on a hot day, and in rough water, the A5 had a reasonable take-off run and climb performance. Getting up on the step is much simpler than in a conventional plane on floats.

This is what happens when amateurs like me who have no knowledge of aviation try to comment in an aviation thread. The Icon A5 looks a lot like a slick copy of the SeaRey, which to my taste is a more interesting plane and more affordable. How does this stuff happen?

To make it again available for everyone we have to implement a automatised script which will reset everything once all 30 min or something like this. Untill we do not have this we will not share the login datas and the demo in first place will emain for internal tests.

Upon seeing the demo button un-clickable and no credentials to try it out, i initially skipped over this project after about 10 seconds and tried some others that i had opened in other tabs. Eventually hit some roadblocks for what i wanted to do and decided to come back and try this one (and glad I did!)

But now I want to show someone else and try to suggest them to switch to this platform but without a proper demo they will not be able to try it and so they have no incentive to switch. Very few screenshots available too 0852c4b9a8
