Effective Date: July 13, 2026
Thank you for using DogDoku. We care about your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, how we protect it, and how you can contact us.
This Privacy Policy applies to DogDoku and its related in-app features.
If you use features provided through the App Store, Game Center, iCloud, your email client, or other third-party services, those services may also be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
This may include level progress, bone balance, play count, failure count, game duration, sound settings, haptic settings, hint and next-step usage, and similar gameplay data.
This information is mainly stored on your device.
If iCloud is enabled on your device and DogDoku is allowed to use CloudKit, we may sync a snapshot of your game progress to your Apple iCloud private database.
This allows your progress to be restored or synced across devices signed in with the same Apple account.
DogDoku integrates Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
We generate a random identifier for the current app installation and may associate it with information such as:
App launches
Screen views
Button taps
App version and build version
Purchase-flow status
Similar usage events
If the app crashes or encounters an error, crash stack traces, relevant app state, device model, operating system version, and similar diagnostic information may be collected.
The installation identifier is used to distinguish an app installation. It is not your Apple account, name, phone number, or email address.
DogDoku uses Firebase Remote Config to obtain campaign settings, app recommendations, in-app product presentation, promotional offers, and weekly-subscription switches.
To select and return applicable configurations, Firebase may process information such as:
Firebase installation identifier
Country or region code
Device language
Time zone
Operating system version
Firebase SDK version
Firebase App ID
App bundle ID
Necessary network-request information
We do not store payment credentials or other confidential information in Remote Config parameters.
If you actively use the solver to take a photo or select a puzzle image from your photo library, DogDoku uses the selected image to recognize the board.
Recognition is mainly performed on your device, and we do not intentionally upload your puzzle images.
If you choose to save a share image through the system share sheet, the system may request permission to write that image to your photo library.
If you tap Feedback and choose to send an email, we will receive your email address, email content, and device information included in the email body, such as the operating system version.
If you sign in to Apple Game Center or choose to view or participate in leaderboards, we may process information related to that feature, including:
Game Center authentication status
Player nickname
Leaderboard scores submitted on your behalf
Completed main levels
Completed Double Dog levels
Bone count
Unlocked skin counts
Apple processes Game Center data under its own policies and settings.
If you purchase or restore DogDoku Pro, purchases, refunds, billing, transaction verification, and auto-renewable subscription or non-consumable transaction records are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
We may store whether Pro is unlocked locally and may log product identifiers, campaign identifiers, purchase-flow status, and similar analytics events.
We do not receive your complete payment-card details.
When you tap rating or sharing buttons, those actions are handled by the Apple App Store or the system share sheet.
Except when you actively take a photo, select an image, or save a share image, we do not read your photo library or camera. We also do not read your contacts, microphone, or precise location.
We use the information described above to:
Save and sync game progress
Provide features such as sound, haptics, the solver, and saving share images
Display, submit, or update Game Center leaderboard results
Process and restore Pro entitlements
Retrieve and apply campaign, recommendation, product-presentation, promotional, and subscription settings
Understand app stability and feature usage
Locate and fix crashes or errors
Respond to feedback
Maintain app security
Improve the product experience
We do not sell your personal information.
To provide app functionality, we may use Apple services such as Game Center, iCloud, the App Store, StoreKit, system sharing, camera and photo-library permissions, and email capabilities.
We also use Google Firebase services for analytics, crash diagnostics, and remote configuration.
These third-party services process necessary information under their own policies and should provide protections consistent with applicable laws and this Privacy Policy.
You can learn more at:
Except where required by law, necessary to protect users or the developer’s lawful rights, or necessary to investigate security issues, we do not intentionally disclose your information to unrelated third parties.
Local game progress remains on your device until you clear your progress in the app, delete the app, or the system removes the data.
iCloud sync data is managed through your Apple account and iCloud settings.
Game Center leaderboard data is managed by Apple Game Center according to its service behavior and your account settings.
Feedback emails may be retained for a reasonable period necessary to handle feedback and maintain communication records.
Retention of data associated with Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Firebase installation identifiers depends on our Firebase console configuration, service needs, and Google Firebase policies.
Deleting the app stops that installation from sending new data, but it may not immediately delete data already retained by a third-party service.
You may:
Turn sound effects or haptics off in the app settings
Choose not to send feedback emails
Choose not to use photo capture, image selection, or saving share images
Manage camera, photo-library, and add-to-photo-library permissions in system settings
Manage iCloud permissions or disable iCloud sync in system settings
Manage Game Center sign-in and leaderboard visibility through your Apple account or Game Center settings
Manage purchases, auto-renewable subscriptions, and refunds through the App Store
Delete local game progress by uninstalling the app or using the in-app clear-progress feature
To request access, deletion, or correction of information you provided by feedback email, or to make an access, deletion, or consent-withdrawal request regarding Firebase-related data, contact us using the email address below.
We will respond to the extent that the relevant data can be lawfully and reasonably verified and located.
Apple, Google Firebase, and their affiliates or service providers may process necessary information outside your country or region.
Where this constitutes a cross-border transfer of personal information under applicable law, we will take the required notice, consent, assessment, or other compliance measures.
You may contact us using the details in this Privacy Policy to ask questions or exercise rights available under applicable law.
DogDoku is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Minors should use the app with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian.
If a parent or guardian believes that a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us. We will take reasonable steps after verification.
We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy as app features, laws, or third-party services change. When updated, we will display the new effective date.
