Spectrum Email/ TWC Mail/Roadrunner Webmail- What is it?
Time Warner Cable (TWC) was the second-largest cable company in the US until it was acquired by Charter Communications in 2016. First, it was operated by Warner Communications and then by Time Warner. It operated independently from 2009 to 2016 with ‘Roadrunner’ as its internet service that is now known by the name of ‘Spectrum Internet’.
In 2015, Charter Communications announced the acquisition of Time Warner cable and continued its operations as ‘Time Warner Cable’ but later on, re-branded its operations under the Spectrum brand. The Roadrunner email service is still in use but is now known as Spectrum Webmail.
As the Roadrunner domain is no longer available and the email services were moved to Spectrum webmail, you can simply create a new Roadrunner email account on Spectrum official webpage. Here’s how to create a new RR mail account:
Go to the official page of Spectrum webmail and then click on the option ‘Create a username’.
On the next page, you will be required to provide your contact info i.e. phone number or email address or you can also enter your account info, click on ‘Next’ to proceed.
Click on ‘Create Email Address’ in the Internet section.
Then, enter a username and password for your Spectrum email account and the username is the initial part of your email address that will precede @twc.com and then select ‘Finish’.
Steps to Login to Roadrunner/TWC Email Account
If you will try to log into your Roadrunner account through rr.com, you will see a message, ‘We have moved your email’. Also, if you will try to access your email account through https://mail.TWC.com or https://mail.brighthouse.com/login, you will be redirected to https://webmail.spectrum.net/mail/auth.
However, if you have created your RR email account long back, you can still log in to your webmail using the two methods explained below.
To login to your spectrum webmail with Roadrunner or TWC account details, you can follow any of the methods explained step by step further.
First Method:
Earlier you used to go to rr.com to access the webmail services but now go to https://www.spectrum.net/login/ to begin the Roadrunner login process.
Simply enter the username and password for your account and hit ‘Sign in’.
Also, verify that you are not a robot by completing the CAPTCHA challenge before you click on ‘Sign in’.
Second Method:
In a web browser, go to https://webmail.spectrum.net/mail/auth to start with the login process.
Enter the email address and password for your Spectrum account.
Go through the CAPTCHA verification and finally click on ‘Sign in’.
How to Deal with Roadrunner Webmail Login Issue?
The main concern arises when you are not able to login to your Roadrunner email account and this can happen for mainly two reasons.
First is when you don’t remember your Roadrunner email address and the other is when you have forgotten the login password. For both issues, you need to follow certain steps to fix them. Let’s see how you can fix both the issues.
Forgot Roadrunner Email Address
Forgetting the Roadrunner email address is a common scenario and you will not be able to login if you don’t remember your username; here is how you can recover it easily:
Go to the Spectrum webmail login page and then click on the ‘Forgot email address’ link.
A page will open where you have to enter the 10-digit number and then click on ‘Submit’.
Once it verifies your phone number, you will be able to recover your account username.
In case you don’t remember the phone number linked to your account, you can look for it on the bill or invoice received by you.
This is one of the commonly faced Roadrunner email problems when you are not able to login because of entering the wrong password. In case, you do not remember the correct password, here is how you can recover it:
Go to the Spectrum webmail login page and then click on the ‘Forgot email password’ link.
On the page that opens, click on ‘I don’t know my email password’.
