Our Mission

To examine the social and economic landscape of our city. Using the arts as a means to analyze structural racism and poverty, we strive to build community through lifting up stories of people-power, solidarity, and social change.

The Action Art Collaborative is a team of multidisciplinary St. Louis artists producing community engaged art.

Our most recent project, Action is a true story from the rich civil rights history in St. Louis, uplifting Percy Green and his dedicated group of activists.

We believe our work is sustainable through grassroots community support. Our funding model includes grant sponsorships and a network of individual supporters.

We are a group of independent artists committed to producing new work through grassroots support. Our creative producing model is informed by a network of activists, community organizers, and artists dedicated to social change. We create stories with the community, by the community, for the community.
