Where it all started...

Our Key Cutting journey first started in 1995 when founder and Father, Martin Stammers opened 'Snobs Ye Olde Cobblers & Key Cutting' in Paddock Wood; a small highstreet Town In Kent. We had our family shop there for 30 years!  In Late 2025, in Ramsgate Kent, on Manston industrial park 'The Laurels', we opened a key cutting counter in our factory showroom for our engraved giftware and signs from Snobs Gifts & Snobs Signs. We're far more than just a key cutting shop - pop down to see us to find out why!

What to expect in store

We cut all types of keys in store, including House Keys, Security Dimple Keys, Car Keys and even cut keys for boats and planes! We also have padlocks and locks in store available for purchase too!

As well as keys cut while-you-wait, we also offer in-store engraving such as trophy engraving -  along with personalised giftware, house signs and memorials! We have a whole showroom dedicated to this in store and upstairs! You'll find our vast house sign display... plus engraved benches, memorial crosses, granite memorials and more!

Why we've recently moved..

After 30 years, we've had to move from our retail unit in Paddock Wood due to lack of production space. It will be a very sad goodbye. As our business has grown and evolved we have increased the amount of products which we manufacture in house for our engraving websites Snobs Signs and Snobs Gifts. Therefore, we needed something which was more built for purpose. We decided we didn't want to say goodbye to our key cutting business as it's been in our family for so long. There is also very little independant key cutting shops anymore, due to the 'big boys' putting many out of business. We don't want independent shops to die and see a market dominated by the 'Big players'  which is why we've decided to keep our family tradition going and introduce a key counter and engraving service within a trade counter in our industrial unit. We hope to be welcoming you soon and look forward to serving you for the next 30+ years - that's our goal. From our family to yours.
