In 2020, the International Parkour Federation (IPF) officially recognized the Syrian Federation of Parkour as the sole national governing body for parkour and freerunning in Syria, with all international rights and responsibilities.

“This international recognition marked a major milestone in the journey of Parkour Syria, paving the way for official participation in Asian and global championships, and affirming Syria’s presence on the international parkour map.”

Parkour Syria participated in this prestigious championship organized by the International Parkour Federation (IPF). It was a remarkable participation that reflected a high level of skill and dedication. Athlete Andre Simon achieved 2nd place, while Yasser Mardini earned 4th place, showcasing the strength and talent of Syrian athletes among Asia’s top parkour competitors.

 Parkour Syria participated in the AFPU Regional Parkour Cup 2021, organized by the Asia Freerunning Parkour Union (AFPU) under the supervision of the International Parkour Federation (IPF). The team delivered an outstanding performance, with Joudi Nasri achieving 3rd place and Baida Soulaiman earning 4th place, further continuing Parkour Syria’s legacy of excellence in Asian championships.

In 2018, the Parkour Syria Team proudly represented Syria in the Eastern World Games, organized under the supervision of the World O-Sport Federation (WOF).

This participation marked the first international appearance of Syrian parkour, proving that passion and professionalism can pave the way toward global recognition.

With teamwork and determination, the athletes achieved remarkable results, laying the foundation for future Asian and international participations under the International Parkour Federation (IPF).

Officially Licensed Book – Recognized by Syrian & UAE Ministries

The Art of Movement – Parkour and Freerunning The Art of Movement – Parkour and Freerunning is the 

first Arabic reference exploring the philosophy and techniques of free movement. Written by Captain Feras Al-Fallah, founder of Parkour in Syria, the book embodies over five years of research and creative development, merging physical training with intellectual and artistic vision. It presents scientific and practical studies on movement therapy, emotional balance, and physical development with a focus on children with autism and the benefits of movement on natural hormonal regulation. The book is officially approved by the Syrian Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Information, and the UAE Media Council, and recognized by the International Parkour Federation (IPF) as a pioneering Arabic contribution to the global Parkour community. Today, The Art of Movement is being prepared for translation into multiple languages, reflecting a vision to share the philosophy of Arab Parkour with the world where movement becomes a universal language of creativity and human connection.

Message from Feras Al-Fallah – The Philosophy of Movement and Life

I am Feras Al-Fallah, founder and coach of Parkour in Syria.

My journey with this art began in 2006, at a time when the idea was unfamiliar and the path was full of challenges.

But Parkour, at its core, is not about jumping over walls — it’s about overcoming the obstacles that life places within us.

Through movement, I discovered that true strength lies not only in the body but also in the mind and the spirit.

The road was never easy, yet the philosophy of Parkour taught me that no path is impossible for those driven by passion.

I was never alone on this journey — everyone who believed, trained, or shared this dream became part of the foundation.

My students, my teammates, and every practitioner in Syria are co-founders of this movement.

They are proof that Parkour is not owned by one person; it is a shared language for those who seek freedom and growth.

After more than two decades of dedication, I believe professionalism is not a distant goal but the natural result of persistence and love for what we do.

Parkour has transformed countless lives  strengthening the body, sharpening the mind, and restoring inner balance.

It is more than a sport; it is a "philosophy of life", a way to rediscover the human within us  resilient, creative, and free.

The future of Parkour Syria is not a dream; it is an ongoing mission.

We are building a new generation that sees movement as art, the body as a message, and creativity as a limitless horizon.

And I still believe, as I did from the beginning, that everyone who shares this passion is a brother, an inspiration, and a partner in spreading this love.
