Peartree Pealers

Who we are

Peartree Pealers are a friendly group of handbell ringers based in Purton, Wiltshire. We usually meet up for practices twice a month in the lovely village church, St.Mary's, or in the home of one of our members. During the year, we may perform at a variety of different events and venues. These have included concerts at village halls, performances for residents in local care homes, the W.I., the church, a local school, etc. We are particularly busy in the lead up to Christmas, when we play in stores and garden centres, raising money for our chosen charity, Prospect Hospice.

If you can read music and would like to come and join our friendly team, please do get in touch to arrange a meeting at one of our practice sessions. You can email us at

We look forward to hearing from you!

We were delighted to celebrate raising over £9,000 for Prospect Hospice.

The Wyevale Garden Centre, Swindon Hay Lane, welcomed us at Christmas. A big 'thank you' to everyone who donated to our collection!

A little bit of Handel...

The residents of Ashgrove House Nursing Home enjoyed a selection of Christmas carols and songs, including 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer'.
