Manaswita Dutta is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences at Rush University-Chicago. Her clinical and research interests include understanding the nature of cognitive-linguistic changes that occur as a result of aging and neurological damage. Further, she is interested in investigating the impact of such long-term cognitive-linguistic consequences on life participation and psychosocial outcomes of individuals with acquired brain injury. Some of her current work also focuses on examining spoken discourse outcomes in persons diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease from ethnically and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
