We are calling for the immediate implementation of Kano’s Law.  

Kano's Law seeks to obtain legal protection and consideration for the best interests of all companion animals, or pets, by ending their legal status as property.  

Current laws in The United States deem companion animals equitable to property.  They are no different than a TV or toaster.  As such, their best interests are not acknowledged or protected by law.  This leaves countless animals vulnerable to enduring or being returned to abusive and/or neglectful environments and situations.  

We are currently 169,000 supporters strong and continue to grow every day.
