John Turner, MA, BA (Oxon)
Providing high level strategic consulting services to governments, agencies and multi-academy trust. I specialise in change management, leadership development and education system support.
Where strategic planning, innovation and development in the education field is concerned, I provide expert advice and support from bidding stage to programme delivery, based on UK experience in local and national government, as a director in a major international services organisation and internationally as Business Development Director at the National College for Teaching & Leadership.
Earlier I worked as a local authority senior director and as a senior UK government policy adviser before moving on to set up a successful professional services business. I have specialist knowledge and experience of designing and delivering successful SEND and local behaviour strategies for schools and local authorities. More recently I have been engaged in working with multi-academy trusts in supporting their strategic planning, senior team restructuring, business planning and communications.
I can work flexibly and creatively in new situations and I am interested in using my skills to support innovative approaches public sector service delivery. My major interests include:
