Baloram is a Doctoral Research Scholar & Senior Research Fellow at the Department of English, University of Kalyani. He has completed his UG, PG, and M.Phil. in English. He has qualified for UGC-NET and WBSET in English and received the National Fellowship (JRF) from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, in 2020. He is the Executive Editor of Consortium: An International Journal of Literary and Cultural Studies and Entanglements: Journal of Posthumanities. He has co-edited the book The Rover by Aphra Behn: Text and Context (2023).
