PART 23: BIDDULPH VALLEY WAY TO MOW COP
PART 23: BIDDULPH VALLEY WAY TO MOW COP
The final walk following the Staffordshire Way. I continue from just off the Staffordshire Way where I finished in part 22, where the Macclesfield Canal meets the Biddulph Valley Way at the Congleton Aqueduct. A short walk along the old railway line and we meet up again with the Staffordshire Way and Gritstone Trail which follow the Biddulph Way for a while to the village of Whitemore, then we begin a gradual climb to Mow Cop Castle where the trail ends/begins. We pass the Old Man of Mow rock formation and head across the Congleton Ridge along the way.
