We Couldn't create a data directory

Explanation:

This issue is a launcher bug where when installing, the launcher uses the wrong windows User account and therefore doesn't have correct permissions for writing or accessing the data.

You don' have Microsoft Edge enabled.

Solution:

If you are getting this bug, most likely you have more than one account on Windows,
1. Log in to the Administrator account on your PC.
OR the account mentioned in the error path. See the image

2. Update the launcher on that account.

Now you should be able to play the game properly on any accounts

Also check if you have Microsoft Edge Enabled/Installed:

Open Control Panel
Go here Control Panel\User Accounts\User Accounts\Manage Accounts
You should see all the user accounts here on your PC, if you see any that you don't want or are extra, remove them.
Go to here Control Panel\User Accounts\User Accounts\Manage Accounts\Change an Account\Change Account Type
And set your current account Type to Administrator
