WWF-Tanzania GIS

In WWF-Tanzania, Geographical Information System (GIS) is the tool for spatial data/information collections, manipulations, storage, analysis and presentations in the areas of landuse/spatial planning, policy interventions, advocacy, awareness and decision.

GIS is implemented by using different ICT infrastructure from Cloud-GIS, Web-GIS, NAS, Desktop and Mobile, which enable activities/processes to be timely/accurate/paperless from data/information acquisition(inputs) to data/information presentation (output) via digital maps, publications, websites/blogs and mobile apps.
