If you want a durable, magnetic charging solution specifically engineered for swimming headphones like the MARLALL S800 or LOBKIN X7, choose WUNIAK Charging Cable; if you need a versatile USB-C to Micro-USB adapter for fast-charging smartphones and data transfer on land, choose Liaoan USB C. These two products serve completely different ecosystems, and picking the wrong one means your device won't charge at all. The confusion often arises because both items involve connectivity, but their applications are as distinct as underwater audio gear and standard mobile power banks.
• WUNIAK Charging Cable: Its greatest strength is its specialized magnetic design with built-in voltage regulation (PTC) that protects sensitive headphone circuits from overcurrent, making it ideal for swimmers who need reliable, safe charging in wet environments. Its biggest trade-off is extreme specificity; it only works with MARLALL S800 and LOBKIN X7 headphones and cannot be used for any other device. This pick is strictly for owners of those specific swimming headsets looking for a secure replacement cable.
• Liaoan USB C Adapter: Its standout feature is high-speed versatility, supporting 18W PD fast charging and rapid data transfer across a wide range of modern smartphones using a compact silver design that fits easily in a pocket. The major limitation is explicit exclusivity; the manufacturer states clearly that it does not support headphones and lacks OTG functionality, rendering it useless for audio accessories. This pick is perfect for daily commuters and office workers who need to adapt older micro-USB cables to new USB-C ports without sacrificing speed.
The WUNIAK Charging Cable is not a generic accessory; it is a precision-engineered tool designed for a very narrow but critical use case: keeping waterproof swimming headphones powered up. When you are deep in the pool or dealing with the humidity of a locker room after construction work, standard connectors can corrode or fail. This cable addresses that by utilizing a magnetic connection system that eliminates the wear and tear associated with repeated plugging and unplugging. The 60cm length is a deliberate choice, offering just enough reach to move around a bag or car console without the clutter of a tangled mess, ensuring you can grab it quickly when you need to top up your battery before a swim session.
What truly sets this unit apart is the internal circuitry. The inclusion of a Voltage Regulator (PTC) is a non-negotiable safety feature for anyone investing in expensive aquatic audio gear. Swimming headphones are exposed to moisture and physical stress, which makes them vulnerable to power surges that could fry the internal drivers. This cable actively prevents overcurrent damage, effectively extending the lifespan of your precious device. It transforms a simple charging act into a protective measure, giving peace of mind that the power source is stable whether you are charging from a laptop, a wall mount, or a portable battery pack.

You should buy this product if you own a MARLALL S800 or LOBKIN X7 and have lost your original charger or need a backup that guarantees safety. The copper wire construction ensures consistent conductivity, while the male-to-male connector type confirms its role as a direct bridge between power and the headphone unit. However, you must skip this purchase entirely if you do not own these specific models. Trying to force this cable onto a phone, tablet, or standard earbuds will result in failure. It is a single-purpose tool, and its value lies entirely in its ability to keep those specific swimming headphones running reliably in tough conditions.
The Liaoan USB C adapter is built for the modern smartphone user who needs to bridge the gap between legacy cables and new ports. Unlike the WUNIAK cable, which is an isolated ecosystem, this adapter embraces the universal nature of USB-C technology. It allows you to take a standard Micro-USB cable—perhaps one you already have lying around—and convert it into a USB-C compatible line for fast charging and data syncing. The packaging includes four pieces, suggesting a strategy where you might keep one in your car, one at the office, and perhaps one in a gym bag, ensuring you never run out of connectivity options when you need to get back online quickly.
Performance is the primary driver here. With support for 18W PD fast charging, this adapter handles power delivery efficiently, ensuring your devices recharge rapidly rather than sitting at a trickle charge for hours. The "Bright Silver" finish adds a touch of durability and visibility, making it easy to spot in a dark drawer or glove box. The pressure testing mentioned in the specs indicates a robust build quality designed to withstand the friction of daily insertion and removal without loosening or overheating. It is a practical solution for anyone managing multiple devices with mixed input standards, allowing for seamless data transfer alongside power delivery.
This product is best suited for professionals, students, or travelers who frequently switch between devices or rely on existing Micro-USB cables. It is explicitly designed for smartphones and data transfer, so it shines in scenarios where you need to sync files or charge a phone via a newer port using older cabling infrastructure. However, you must avoid this product if you are looking to charge headphones or utilize OTG functions. The manufacturer is clear that it does not support audio accessories, meaning it offers no utility for music lovers or those trying to connect peripherals. If your workflow revolves around general mobile device maintenance rather than specialized audio equipment, this adapter is a highly efficient tool to keep your digital life moving.

I would choose the WUNIAK Charging Cable if my primary focus was maintaining specialized equipment like swimming headphones or clip-on earbuds for construction work, because the safety features and magnetic reliability are non-negotiable for those specific tasks. Conversely, I would select the Liaoan USB C adapter for general daily use, simply because it solves a ubiquitous problem for most people: connecting older cables to new ports with speed and ease. Ultimately, the decision rests on what you are powering. If you are trying to keep your underwater audio gear alive, the WUNIAK option is the only logical path. If you are managing a fleet of smartphones and tablets, the Liaoan adapter is the more practical investment. Neither product is superior in a vacuum; they simply dominate different territories.
