I am an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University

In my research, I focus on technology strategy and the entrepreneurial commercialization of science. More specifically, my research revolves around three themes. First, the role of immigrants in shaping innovation in firms and entrepreneurship. Second, the entrepreneurial commercialization of academic research, and third, the antecedents and  consequences of firms’ innovative search strategies.

In 2021, I obtained my Ph.D. degree at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. During this time, I was a visiting Ph.D. student at MIT and virtually visiting Cornell University. I hold a Master’s degree in Urban and Economic Geography from Utrecht University.
