Wright State Ultrasound Curriculum

Welcome to your ultrasound rotation. This has been a work-in-progress for many years and I am excited to present to you the developing curriculum for the US rotation. There may be some unforeseen challenges to work through, but we have a great team of interested folks ready and willing to help make this program a success. I would like you to start by reading the document below which offers some general background information in regard to why we have this rotation, some ACEP guidelines, and a general overview of the rotation and expectations. By this time you have all been through the ultrasound orientation at the beginning of residency and now is your time to truly focus on learning point-of-care ultrasound. I have created a separate email address to best organize all ultrasound focused materials, so at the start of the rotation please contact me at wsuemus@gmail.com or 937-716-5881 so that we can work out some time for you to work with one of our faculty and to further discuss the expectations of this rotation. Thank you for your dedication to learning ultrasound and welcome to the team. --- Dr. Brian Pennington, WSU EM Academic Faculty
