The WSMC14 - 14th International Conference on Statistics, Mathematics and Computation will be hosted by the Universidade Aberta in collaboration with CEAUL-Center of Statistics and it Applications of University of Lisbon, continuing in the spirit of earlier meetings. The Universidade Aberta will host WSMC14 at Department of Sciences and Technology located in Rua Almirante Barroso, 38, Lisbon, Portugal. 

The format for the meeting will include plenary talks, thematic sessions, sessions with contributed talks and posters. The conference includes invited presentations by renowned scientists, and will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest statistical, mathematical and computational methodologies. Another goal of the conference is to strengthen relationships in the statistical and mathematical community and researchers who apply statistics and mathematics in other fields. Master and PhD students are encouraged to participate and present their projects to conference attendees.
