I was able to connect to my FTPS server using classic versions of WS_FTP LE 5.08 and 6.0. They both worked with no problems. So its safe to say as long as you configure the app that requires SSL Authentication correctly, you shouldn't have any problems.
Written entirely using good old fashionedNotepad with the helpof a licensed copy ofJASC Paint Shop Pro 6 as well as WS_FTP LE version 5.08 for filetransfer. I also now use the fantasticXnView image file converter.

Neu in Version 8 sind Thumbnails fr Bilder. Der Webmaster findet sich so besser zurecht, bei einem entfernten Verzeichnis kann die Darstellung sich allerdings stark verzgern, da WS_FTP alle Bilder komplett laden muss. Neu sind auch HotDrop-Icons. Die kleinen Logos auf dem Desktop reprsentieren ein entferntes Verzeichnis. Der Anwender zieht eine Datei, die er uploaden will, auf das Logo und WS_FTP bertrgt sie im Hintergrund. Auerdem ldt das Programm beim Start nun automatisch immer das entfernte Verzeichnis wieder, das der Anwender vor dem letzten Schlieen geffnet hatte. Es untersttzt die Protokolle FTP, SSL sowie SSH und verbindet ber Socks4/5-Proxys. Interessant ist es, in der Liste der voreingestellten Server zu stbern.
