Audio Feedback
After reading this site, if you are having questions or issues reach out to wsddjapresident@gmail.com.
Receiving Audio Feedback
Audio feedback is shared via Google Drive following competitions.
One master folder will be created per team. All competition audio feedback will be uploaded to this master folder throughout the season.
You will not receive a new email each week you compete, rather should check your folder on Sunday evening to access your audio.
Competition audio feedback will be uploaded to your team's master folder by 5pm PST on Sunday following the competition.
If you'd like to share your audio file with your dancers or other coaches, you will be able to do so.
Please DO NOT add additional files to the audio folder or re-name your team's folder to another name. This causes confusion in the audio transfer process.
HAVING TROUBLE OPENING A FILE?
Judges provide their own digital audio recorders.
Generally, the audio recorders provide a MP3, WMA (Windows Media Audio), or WAV (Waveform Audio File).
While MP3 is a universal file type that can be opened and played on most devices, MP4, WMA and WAV files are Microsoft files.
If you are having trouble opening and playing a MP4, WMA or WAV audio file (particularly if you are using an Apple device such as a Mac or iPhone), we suggest either converting the file to an MP3 format or using a third party app to open and listen to the file on your device.
There are many free apps available through the app store. One suggestion is OPlayer Lite.
Opening and Playing Files using OPlayer Lite
Once the OPlayer Lite app is downloaded, see the below steps for how to listen to files using OPlayer Lite from Google Drive on your phone.
Navigate to the file you would like to open.
Click the three dots next to the MP4, WMA or WAV file.
Scroll down and select "Open in".
Select the "OPlayer Lite" or other app you have downloaded.
The file will open then play on your phone.
