Oriundo de Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela, Wilder Rojas inició sus estudios musicales a los 6 años en el Centro de Educación Musical Integral (CEMI) de Puerto Ordaz, donde aprendió teoría y solfeo, las bases de la armonía y composición con el maestro Samuel Cristancho, se introdujo especialmente en el piano y en algunos instrumentos folclóricos. Luego se dedicó a estudiar el piano como instrumento solista con la profesora Linda Ferdinand durante 6 años, al mismo tiempo que se dedicaba a la composición de forma autodidacta, hasta que se trasladó a Ciudad Bolívar e ingresó, como estudiante de violoncello, a la Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado Bolívar "Antonio Lauro" bajo la dirección del maestro Dino Goncalves. Fue en ésta institución, guiado por su director, donde profundizó sus estudios en la orquestación, armonía y composición contemporánea, fungiendo también como pianista titular y arreglista. A su vez, formó parte de la Orquesta Típica del Estado Bolívar dirigida por el maestro Jesús Medina, como cellista, pianista y arreglista. En 2022, gana el Premio Schnoegass de Composición del concurso El Piano Venezolano en su XI Edición. Actualmente reside en Lima, Perú, donde continúa explorando la composición musical, especialmente a través del estilo minimalista y la música venezolana en el piano.

Simultaneously, he was a member of the Typical Orchestra of the Bolívar State conducted by maestro Jesús Medina, as a cellist, pianist, and arranger. In 2022, he wins the Schnoegass Composition Prize from the Venezuelan competition "El Piano Venezolano" in its XI Edition. He currently resides in Lima, Peru, where he continues to explore musical composition, particularly through the minimalist style and Venezuelan music on the piano.
