Context

Bridge the Gap was founded to address a critical issue within our school community. We've noticed that here and beyond, students face significant challenges in accessing crucial information for their college journey. From standardized tests to college admissions, financial aid, and more, students often lack the guidance they need. This information gap leads to confusion and uncertainty about the path ahead. Bridge the Gap was established to tackle this problem head-on, aiming to empower our fellow students--you--with the resources and information required to succeed on their journey to college and beyond.

What We Do

At Bridge the Gap, we're dedicated to empowering high school students on their path to higher education. Our approach is rooted in a commitment to providing vital information, fostering peer support, and connecting students with valuable resources. Here's how we achieve our mission:

• Information Empowerment: We believe in the power of knowledge. We provide students with essential information on standardized tests, college admissions, applications, financial aid, and more. Our resources help demystify the college journey and make informed decisions.

• Peer Support: Students are at the heart of our community. We create a supportive space where they can share experiences, offer advice, and learn from each other. Peer support complements professional guidance, providing diverse perspectives on the road to college.

• Professional Guidance: While peer support is central, we recognize the importance of professional resources. We guide students to seek specialized information when needed, ensuring a comprehensive support system.
