Who am I, and what do i do?

Hi there! I’m the school’s literacy coach, which is just a fancy way of saying I get to spend my days helping teachers teach reading—and helping kids love reading! Think of me as the behind-the-scenes support: I work with teachers to make sure they have the tools, strategies, and resources they need to help every student grow into a confident reader and writer.

I also help keep an eye on our reading intervention groups. That means I’m checking in to make sure students who need a little extra reading support are getting the right kind of help—and that it’s working. My goal? To give every child the best chance to grow, succeed, and maybe even fall in love with books along the way. Basically, I’m part cheerleader, part coach, and part book nerd—and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 📚💪
