This Privacy Policy explains how Wreader ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Wreader application ("App").
Your privacy is important to us. Wreader is designed so that your books and reading activity remain under your control. Wreader does not operate servers that collect or store your books, documents, reading history, highlights, bookmarks, notes, or reading progress.
Wreader includes optional features such as Text-to-Speech (TTS) and Google Drive synchronization. This Privacy Policy explains how those features work and how your information is handled.
By using Wreader, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Wreader allows you to open and read supported book and document formats, including:
EPUB
TXT
MOBI
AZW3
DOC
DOCX
Books and documents you import into Wreader are processed by the App on your device for reading and related features.
Wreader does not upload your books or documents to developer-operated servers. We do not receive, view, store, or have access to the contents of your books and documents.
Your library information, reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, notes, and reading preferences are also stored locally unless you choose to use an optional synchronization or backup feature described below.
Wreader includes a Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature that allows you to listen to supported book content.
When you activate Text-to-Speech, Wreader provides the relevant text to the text-to-speech service or voice engine available on your device so that it can be converted into spoken audio.
Wreader does not operate a server that receives or stores book text for the TTS feature.
Depending on the voice, operating system, or TTS service selected on your device, the TTS provider may process text according to its own privacy practices. This processing is controlled by the operating system or third-party TTS provider and is not controlled by Wreader.
Using Text-to-Speech is optional.
Wreader provides an optional Google Drive synchronization feature that allows you to keep supported Wreader data available across your devices.
When you enable Google Drive sync, Wreader may transfer the information necessary to provide synchronization between your device and your own Google Drive account.
Wreader does not transfer your Google Drive files to developer-operated servers.
The developer of Wreader does not receive, view, download, or store the contents of your books or documents through the Google Drive synchronization feature.
Your synchronized information is handled directly between the Wreader App on your device and your Google Drive account using Google's services.
Wreader only requests Google permissions necessary to provide the synchronization functionality.
You remain in control of your Google Drive account and can disable synchronization or revoke Wreader's Google Drive authorization through your Google account settings.
Google may process information associated with your use of Google Drive according to Google's own privacy policies and terms.
For information about Google's privacy practices, see:
Wreader itself does not intentionally collect or store personal information on developer-operated servers, such as:
Your name
Email address
Phone number
Contacts
Photos
Precise location
Reading history
Book content
Reading progress
Bookmarks
Highlights
Notes
Information used by optional third-party services, including Google AdMob, Google Drive, or a device's TTS provider, may be processed by those services according to their own privacy policies.
Wreader may store information locally on your device to provide its reading features, including:
Imported books and documents
Library information
Reading progress
Bookmarks
Highlights
Notes
Reading preferences
Theme and display settings
Text-to-Speech preferences
Synchronization settings
This locally stored information is not uploaded to Wreader's developer-operated servers.
If you enable Google Drive synchronization, information necessary for the synchronization feature may be transferred to your Google Drive account as described in Section 3.
You can remove locally stored Wreader data by deleting the relevant content, clearing the App's storage where supported, or uninstalling the App.
Wreader uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain information for purposes such as providing, securing, personalizing where permitted, and measuring advertisements. Depending on your device, settings, consent choices, and applicable law, this may include information such as:
Device or advertising identifiers
IP address
Approximate location derived from information such as IP address
Advertising interactions
Device and app information
This advertising information is processed by Google through its advertising services. Wreader does not operate an advertising-data server that receives or stores this information.
Google's handling of information is governed by Google's applicable policies.

Wreader does not sell or rent your personal information.
Wreader does not send your books, documents, highlights, bookmarks, notes, or reading history to developer-operated servers.
Information may, however, be processed by third-party services when you choose or use features that depend on them, including:
Google AdMob for advertising.
Google Drive when you enable synchronization.
Your device's TTS service or selected voice provider when you use Text-to-Speech.
These services process information according to their respective privacy policies and your device/account settings.
When Wreader accesses Google Drive through Google APIs, access is used only to provide the user-requested synchronization functionality.
Wreader does not use Google Drive access for advertising purposes and does not sell Google Drive information.
Wreader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with applicable Google API Services policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Wreader is not directed to children under the age of 13, or another minimum age where required by applicable law.
Wreader does not knowingly collect children's personal information on developer-operated servers.
Third-party services used by the App may have their own requirements and privacy practices.
Wreader is designed to minimize the amount of information transmitted outside the App.
Books and reading information stored locally remain under the control of your device. If you enable Google Drive synchronization, synchronized information is also subject to the security of your Google account and Google's services.
We recommend protecting your device and Google account using appropriate security measures, such as a screen lock, device encryption, a strong password, and two-step verification where available.
You can control how you use Wreader's optional features. You may:
Choose whether to use Text-to-Speech.
Choose whether to enable Google Drive synchronization.
Disconnect or revoke Google Drive access through your Google account.
Delete books and reading information stored in Wreader.
Clear the App's local data where supported.
Uninstall Wreader to remove locally stored App data.
Because Wreader does not maintain developer-operated accounts or servers containing your books and reading information, we generally do not possess that information and therefore cannot retrieve, modify, or delete it on your behalf.
For information held by Google or another third-party service, you should use the privacy and account controls provided by that service.
Wreader may rely on third-party services to provide specific functionality, including:
Google AdMob — advertising services.
Google Drive / Google APIs — optional synchronization across your devices.
Device or third-party Text-to-Speech services — converting text into spoken audio when you use TTS.
The use of these services may result in information being processed independently by their providers. Their handling of information is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Wreader, its features, third-party services, or applicable requirements.
When the Privacy Policy is updated, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
