The Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) stands as a distinctive and enriching project-based learning opportunity provided by WPI. In the junior academic year, students engage in collaborative efforts within interdisciplinary teams to address pertinent issues or needs at the intersection of science and society. This experiential learning initiative extends over a half-semester duration, fostering a dynamic and immersive experience. A distinguishing feature of IQP lies in its worldwide presence. WPI has project centers located in over 50 countries across the globe. Students have the option to select and journey to these international project centers, enhancing their cultural understanding and broadening the scope of their problem-solving endeavors.
