Dear WPA colleagues,
We hope you have had a chance to review the documents circulated earlier this month about proposed participation guidelines, moderation board formation, and name options for the list. If not, they are available here: https://sites.google.com/view/wpa-l-change-work/. We now invite you to express your position about the various changes through this Qualtrics survey link. No identifying information is required or collected. The survey does, however, limit "ballot box stuffing" by allowing only one vote per IP Address.
Since there is no defining characteristic of being "invested in WPA-L" (and people subscribe and unsubscribe often and for various purposes), we are circulating the link and trusting that those who respond are those invested in the disciplinary work of the list and its function in the field of writing studies. Given the importance of the list in the field, we are opting to seek the widest possible input within the constraints that technology can afford us. It will thus also be circulated on social media groups relevant to writing studies and related distribution lists (TYCA, WPA-POCC, etc.) for input from those members.

The results of the survey will help Mike Palmquist, Barry Maid, and members of the WPA Reimagining working group with the transition process over the next year.
Thank you for your participation in the survey. If you have questions, please direct them to the working group's shared email address: wpa.lworkinggroup@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
