of Central Arkansas

Worldview network of Central Arkansas works to inspire and shape leaders by giving them the framework of a Biblical insight to societal changes. Our mission is to provide information to make a positive change in how leaders lead.

The Worldview Leadership Summit will be held at First Church of the Nazarene in Hot Springs, Arkansas on October 21 and 22, 2022.

Event cost is $20 per person. This Includes seating for the two-day event, plus breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Meet the speakers for the Worldview Leadership Summit

Dr. David McDonald

Director for Health Teams International, Dr. McDonald has led medical mission teams to the least reached people across the globe. He regularly lectures on Biblical Worldview and World Religions both domestically and internationally.

Dr. McDonald and his father partner to reach people of the Islamic faith. They have had over 600 books translated into the languages of Urdu, Arabic, Somali, Indonesian, Hindi, Tamil, Turkish, Farsi and are expanding to add additional languages. Currently, Dr. McDonald oversees translating and dubbing videos in partnership with The Bible Project, Voice of the Martyrs, Our Daily Bread, Cross Examined, and others. Monthly they reach approximately 150,000 Muslims.

Joseph Backholm

Joseph Backholm is Senior Fellow for Biblical Worldview and Strategic Engagement at Family Research Council. He combines extensive legal, political, and policy experience with a love for the way biblical truth cultivates human flourishing.

Previously, Mr. Backholm served as legal counsel and Director of What Would You Say? at the Colson Center for Christian Worldview where he developed and launched a growing platform that creates short, animated videos answering common questions about faith and culture. His YouTube career began as a self-identified "6'5 Chinese Woman" in a series of YouTube videos exploring the logic of gender identity.

He served as a legislative attorney for three years and spent 10 years as the President and General Counsel of the Family Policy Institute of Washington in Washington State where he managed educational, legislative, and electoral operations on behalf of life, marriage, religious freedom, and parental rights. He led three ballot initiatives on marriage and gender privacy.
