Race 40: Bathurst

Lap 1 - Sean Angel and Jackson Harrows take the green in the finale!

Lap 1 - Lead Change! Heading down the frontstretch, Harrows will already take the lead from Angel into turn one!

Lap 1 - Lead Change! In turn one, Sean Angel moves Harrows wide! He is determined to lead a lap this season!

Lap 8 - CAUTION! Zachary Fitzwater gets spun into turn one!

Lap 11 - Angel takes the restart!

Lap 11 - CAUTION! Ji-Yeon Hu spins around Oscar Anderson!

Lap 14 - Angel takes the restart.

Lap 23 - CAUTION! Mark Nutt and Shrimp Engrits run out of fuel and stall going up the mountain! This means the race will end under caution!

Lap 23 - OH NO! The leaders come up on the two stalled cars and the track is blocked! It's a logjam!

Lap 23 - The leaders get by the stopped cars and the race is on! This is the race back to the caution! This is for the win!

Lap 23 - Jack Hallec gets alongside Angel heading down the winding turns down the mountain!

Lap 23 - Lead Change! Jack Hallec takes the lead at the top of the chase!

Lap 23 - OH MY! Heading off the blind turn onto the straightaway there is the out of fuel Quinten Moore! He's going about 60 MPH due to going down a hill! The leaders have to take evasive action!

Lap 23 - Hallec smashes into the back of Moore!

Lap 23 - Lead Change! Sean Angel has nowhere to go and spins Hallec around! Christopher Akron hits Hallec but gets by for the lead anyways!

Lap 23 - TROUBLE! Your point leader Ryan Bolden gets spun in the chaos! He would have clinched the championship if he hadn't been spun! Where will he end up in the lineup?!

Lap 24 - Eric Cardona doorslams Dack Jovic taking the caution and tries to spin him! Cardona is obviously angry at Jovic for spinning his close friend Ryan Bolden!

Lap 24 - All this chaos has put the point leader Ryan Bolden back into the 28th spot from his previous 9th place. This now puts three spots in between Bolden and the championship instead of being safe on points.

Lap 24 - In the madness, championship contender Brandon Chrasta slipped into 12th place as Bolden dropped to 28th. As long as no more than two cars run out of fuel or pit for damage/tires, he will be the champion.

Lap 25 - Alexa Lake has a flat tire! She pits and now puts the gap between Chrasta and Bolden now to 3 three points! Two positions! Can everyone make it on fuel on this last lap?!

Lap 26 - WHITE FLAG! Christopher Akron takes the white flag on a crazy race, and an even crazier championship. He has one more lap to roll around to win his third race.

Lap 26 - CHECKERED FLAG! Christopher Akron breaks Sean Angel's heart and steals the win in Bathurst!

Lap 26 - CHECKERED FLAG! BRANDON CHRASTA IS THE WTSS SEASON ONE CHAMPION! He wins by THREE POINTS! TWO POSITIONS on track!
