I’ve drawn on and off for years, which means I’m not starting from nothing, but I am starting over in a way.
This part of the experiment is about consistency: showing up regularly, practicing fundamentals, and letting improvement emerge over time.

The first week was very disorganised but for the second week, I chose to focus on perspective drawing.
I had to think about how things would look with multiple-point perspectives but it was also quite fun to try out.
Getting back into good drawing habits, I tried to start the sessions with a little bit of gesture drawing.
For week 3, I tried a little hybrid animal drawing challenge and drew a mix between a dog and an octopus.
For week 4, I continued a long-time unfinished project of drawing a room for a prototype anomaly game in Godot.
I feel like I haven't done as much practice as I've should've done in March, but I did manage to finish a full drawing. I decided to try my hand at horror drawings by using holidays and Saint-Patrick's was the one for March.
The drawing went off the rails when I decided to combine Saint-Patrick's day with Patrick Starfish and horror...
Overall, I liked the drawing and realized I like big thick black lines in a comic book style.
There were around 76 hours left in the challenge for this skill at the end of the month.
