I have always wanted to make my own games, but for years it felt out of reach and rather hard to get into.
Seeing what other indie developers made with so little gave me hope to start my game dev journey.
Choosing Godot Engine was intentional. It is free, open source, and accessible.
Mammoth Club Courses (bought on sale from HumbleBundle)
First week was slightly disappointing as no work had been done in Godot and thus, the timer didn't go down. But I managed to catch up on the other timers by starting a tutorial about Level Design from Mammoth Club.
Adding tiles turned out to be a lot more work than I thought and almost felt like making art istead.
I continued the level design course hoping to finish it this week but once more, it proved to be longer to complete.
I continued with the mountain and forest area.
