WorldEye ("we", "our", or "us") operates the WorldEye mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We do not collect, store, or process personal information. The App does not require account creation, login, or registration of any kind.
2. HOW THE APP WORKS
WorldEye fetches publicly available news, conflict data, natural disaster reports, and other geopolitical information from our servers. This content is displayed on an interactive globe within the App. No personal data is sent from your device to our servers.
3. PURCHASE DATA
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, billing details, or Apple ID. Purchase entitlements are managed through RevenueCat using anonymous, randomly generated device identifiers only — no personally identifiable information is collected or stored.
4. LOCAL DATA STORAGE
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
Your preferences (such as notification and auto-refresh settings)
Cached news articles for offline viewing
Purchase status
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App uses the following third-party services:
Apple App Store — Processes in-app purchases under Apple's own privacy policy
RevenueCat — Manages purchase entitlements using anonymous device identifiers only
CDN providers (jsDelivr) — Delivers visualization libraries used to render the interactive globe
None of these services receive personally identifiable information from the App.
6. ANALYTICS AND TRACKING
We do not use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.
7. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties because we do not collect any user data.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
WorldEye is not intended for children under 17. The App displays news content that may include reports of armed conflict, natural disasters, and other geopolitical events.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. If you wish to remove locally stored preferences, you may uninstall the App.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
