About the Composer and His Music
About the Composer and His Music
Robert Ashford began composing as a child. Rather than build on most twentieth century classical music, Ashford weaves elements of early classical and romantic music in an exciting new way. His enchanting melodies are a deep expression of the beauty that surrounds us. They are enriched by consonant harmonies to create music that is exquisitely serene, etherial and meditative. His works have universal appeal and lasting value.

Ashford's compositions are aired on over 60 radio stations around the country. According to BMI's Concert Music Director, Ralph Jackson, "Robert Ashford's music is receiving a level of radio air play that is unprecedented for an emerging classical composer on a new label. Ashford is truly one-of-a-kind."
