About the workshop

One day workshop on Mathematical Biology for undergraduate students is being organized at University of Delhi South Campus. The workshop is an orientation program for the Undergraduate students.

Aim of the workshop

To provide students an overview of how mathematics can be linked and applied to biology, e.g. application of linear and nonlinear differential equations in biology, probabilistic/stochastic modeling of biological phenomena. The idea is to motivate students to pursue career in mathematical biology and related fields.

The workshop will consist of lectures and hands on tutorials. In tutorials students will be given small mathematical problems related to biology.

Eligibility:

1. Current Undergraduate/Bachelor's Students

2. Student of University of Delhi

3. Preference will be given to students with background of Biomathematics and related areas.
